Adeline "Adele" Turchi, 98, formerly of New Jersey, died in a Chattanooga hospital, February 10, 2016.


Born in New York City, the daughter of Italian immigrants, Thomas and Catherine "Katie" Buffa, she lived most of her life in New Jersey. She worked as a business owner with her husband and later worked in Sales and as a homemaker.
She enjoyed crafts, pottery and painting.

She was a mother to three children and retired to Tennessee.

She is survived by two children, Ronald Turchi and Susan Pagliughi, both of New Jersey; grandson, Michael J. Pagliughi of South Pittsburg, TN; granddaughter, Andrea Turchi of New Jersey as well as three other grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
