Agnes Roberta Dawson June 10, 1933 – March 4, 2022

Roberta Dawson,88, of Sequatchie, TN., passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022.

She was beloved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.

Roberta was a Doctor's nurse's assistant for 30 years, which carried into every facet of her life.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Fayette Smith and Ethel Davis Smith; husbands, George Knight and Clyde Dawson; sisters, Emma Jo Willis and Adeline Marchesseault; stepchildren, Ronald Dawson, Elizabeth Carter, and Sue VanAllman; grandson, Matthew Davenport.

Survivors include her sons, Tim Davenport, Jim (Linda) Davenport; stepchildren, Oma Dawson, Melvin (Frances) Dawson, Royce (Mettawee) Dawson, Carolyn (Jimmy) Turney, Phillip (Danette) Dawson, Ernest (Sadie) Dawson; grandchildren, Crystal (Chris) Cagle, Misty (Jason) Gaddy, Dustin Davenport, Amy (Andrew) Brewer-Davenport, Sarah Davenport; great grandchildren, Klyleigh Davenport, Dylan Davenport and a plethora of nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, TN, with Pastor Melvin Dawson officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. (CST) prior to the graveside at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
