Alan Lee Hogan, 50, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Thursday, December 26, 2013.

He loved cooking out and grilling, and was a dedicated drag racer, especially at the Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Woody Hogan; sister, Deborah Renee Hogan; nephew, T.C. Cope; and grandparents, CA & Pat Hogan and OW & Minnie Woody.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Champion Hogan of Tunnel Hill, GA; his father, John A. Hogan of South Pittsburg, TN; daughter, Jessica Hogan of Tunnel Hill; son, Dallas Hogan of Tunnel Hill; grandson, Aiden Phillips; brothers, Johnny Hogan of South Pittsburg and Mark Hogan of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Gabrielle Hogan, Carma, Sonya and Ashlee Hibbetts; nephew, Jered Hogan; and several aunts and uncles, including special "Aunt Char".

Funeral services will be Monday, December 30th, at 2pm Central time in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of the service on Monday. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
