Alline Pryor Hale, 92, of Jasper, Tennessee, died Monday, December 31, 2018 in a local hospital.

The daughter of the late Vestus James & Willie Mae Teague Pryor, she was a longtime member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Jasper, where she served for over 30 years as an usher. She loved to cook and often entered her canned items in County Fair competitions, winning several awards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Louis "Bud" Hale; children, David Anthony Hale, Phoebe Jane Hale, and Sandra Jean Harmon; and sisters, Virginia Jo Pryor, Mable Pryor, Belinda Bass Powell, Clara Anna Johnson, and Willie Clyde Pryor.

She is survived by two children, Albert Labron Harmon, Sr., of Flint, Michigan, and Abbie Alline Hale O'Neal, of Jasper; sister, Joyce Ann Doss, of Jasper; grandchildren, Albert Labron Harmon, Jr. (and wife, Adonna), of Flint, Michigan, India J. Rogers, and Louis Aaron Walker, both of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Liberty Rogers, Nysia Harmon, and Nicole Harmon; aunt, Mary Lou Myers, of Jasper; special friend, Bill Reynolds, of Whitwell, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Jasper at 1:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday, January 5, 2019.

Interment will be at Anderson Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
