Mrs. Alma Gudger Smith, 102, of Jasper, TN, died at her home early Sunday morning, September 1, 2013.
A lifelong resident of Marion County, she was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Bell and Omie Mae Bell Farmer Gudger, husband, Walter C. Smith, and daughter, Virginia Mae Smith Eckerty.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Charlene (Bill) Lawson and Mark Webb, of Kissimmee, FL; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, with Rev. David Swanner officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3rd from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
