Andrew Clyde "Andy" Pryor, 58, of Chattanooga, died January 16, 2007 in a Chattanooga hospital.The son of the late Francis W. and Katherine Nobles Pryor, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pryor. A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, he taught 6th grade Science at Westside Middle School in Whitfield Co., GA for 33 years and Chattanooga Middle School for 3 years. He had been a volunteer worker at the Tennessee Aquarium since it opened, and enjoyed working with stained glass since his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Betsi Pryor, of Chattanooga; children, Molly Pryor of New York City and Andy Gabe Pryor, of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, Jerry Pryor and Francis (Ann) Pryor, Jr., of Jasper; nephews, Chris (Christy) Pryor and David (Valerie) Pryor. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 18, from 4-6 P.M., EST at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chattanooga. Services will be conducted from St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM, EST, with Rev. Sam Payne officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 PM, Central Time, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Jasper, Tennessee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga, TN.
