Ann Newman Gibson, 86, of Tracy City, TN, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015.


The daughter of the late Martin and Maude Newman, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and attended the House of Prayer in Tracy City. She dearly loved her grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Gibson; sister, Wade Bible; brother, Paul Newman; and son, Robert Lee "Wort" Gibson.


She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Rick) Yarworth of Tracy City, TN; sisters, Betty Sims of Jasper, TN, Catherine Miller and Peggy Grimes both of Whiteside, TN; sister-in-law, Katherine Newman of Sequatchie, TN; grandchildren, Christy & Bobby Jones of Whitwell, TN, Ginger and Gerrett Cook of Cocoa Beach, FL, Denise & David Yarbrough of Chattanooga, TN and Robert & Miranda Gibson of Trenton, GA; great-grandchildren, Blake & Whitney Morrison of Tracy City, Alex Morrison, Trey & Luke Nunley of Whitwell, Abbi, Emaleigh and Ronan Cook of Cocoa Beach, FL, Zack & Preston Frashier of Chattanooga, TN and Delorus Gibson of Trenton, GA.


The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 4-8pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.


Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2:30 pm Central time on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery in Tracy City, TN.
