Ann Wagoner King, 86, of New Hope, Tennessee, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

The daughter of the late William Henry & Annie Virginia Beavers Wagoner, she was a native of Vienna, Virginia, moving to New Hope in 1972. She worked for many years at 1st Tennessee Bank, and was a member of the South Pittsburg Lions Club, and Garden Club, the Sewanee Women's Club, and Holly Avenue United Methodist Church. She was also a former New Hope City Recorder and a board member for the Nickajack Port Authority.

She is survived by her son, Bill (Janie) Moreland, of Stephens City, Virginia; daughter, Donna (Fred) Blevins, of New Hope; sisters, Jean Fay Wagoner and Palma Berardi, both of Flagler Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Billy (Danielle) Moreland and Mary Ann (Matt) Kremer, both of Stephens City, Virginia, Chris (Whitney) Blevins of Winchester, Tennessee, Adam (Amanda) Blevins, and Ben (Tiffany) Blevins, both of Jasper, Tennessee; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Ann's caregivers, Linda Hargis, Betty Lancaster, and the staff of Valley View Assisted Living.

A memorial service will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Central time on Friday, February 8, 2019. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, General Fund, PO Box 189, South Pittsburg, Tennessee 37380.
