Mrs. Annie Leah Willis Piercy, 81, of Bridgeport, AL died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Memorial hospital in Chattanooga.
The daughter of the late Thomas and Leah Eliza Allison Willis, she was a member of the Chalkville Baptist Church, was an avid reader and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Lee Piercy; sisters, Mildred and Kate; and brothers, Cy, James, Taylor and Dan "Spud" Willis.
She survived by her children, Leon & Betty Phillips, Joyce Coffman, Kay & Corky Childs all of Bridgeport, AL, Kelly Reynolds of Birmingham and Keith & Sherry Piercy of Bridgeport, AL; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margaret Willis and Odie Willis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 1 PM Central time with Rev. Jim Barnard officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland Cemetery in Stevenson, AL.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2-8 PM Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
