Annie Elizabeth Womack McCanless, 78, of Bridgeport, AL, died Friday, May 18, 2007. The daughter of the late Lemuel and Ethel Mae St. Clair Womack, she was the widow of Ernest McCanless and was a member of the Baptist faith.Mrs. McCanless is survived by six children, Patricia Joyce Powell of Powell's Crossroads, Ernestine L. Krejci of Austin, TX, Wanda Diane Smith of Scottsboro, AL, Roy Edward McCanless of Hollywood, AL, Charles Michael McCanless of Bridgeport, AL, and Teresa Shirleen Hales of Orme, TN; one brother, Robert Womack of Cartersville, GA; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 2:00pm CDT Monday, May 21, 2007 with Randy Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
