It is with great sadness that the family of Annie Grace Stone announces her unexpected passing on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the age of 89 years old.

Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 29 years, Roy Stone. She is also, survived by her sons, Jody (Angela) Stone, Alan (Deborah) Wilkes; grandchildren, Tonja Denise and Alan Wilkes ll;  great grandchildren, Biancha Diane, Wyatt Christian, and Ellington Grace, sisters, Linda (Jimmie) Morrison, Carolyn (Wayne) Rollins, Debbie Mayfield, Sheila (Larry) Nelson, brothers, Johnny (Linda) Stone, Rev. Donnie (Anita) Stone, 17 nieces and nephews; 39 great, nieces and nephews; a special friend, Diane Ervin; as well as many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vardie (Lela Buffington) Steele, first husband, Verlon "Vic" Wilkes, sister, Bernice Steele, and brother, Raymond Steele.

Ann, was an avid gardner, seamstress, and animal lover was also a loyal member of both the local V.F.W. No. 21 and the Military Order of the Cootie (M.O.C.) for nearly three decades.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm (central time) and Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 2:00 pm (central time) followed by a funeral service celebrating the life and memory of Ann at 3:00 pm (central time) with Rev. Donald Stone officiating. At Rogers Funeral at South Pittsburg, Tennessee, 400 Laurel Ave. South Pittsburg, TN

Pallbearers for Mrs. Stone, will be the following; Wesley Stone, Jimmie Morrison, II, Jody Stone, Micky Smith, Matt Stone, Jared Stone, (Honorary Pallbearer) Todd Morrison.

Entombment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family has entrusted Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg, 400 Laurel Avenue, South Pittsburg, Tennessee with the arrangements.
