Barbara G. Jones (Boopie), 72, of Ladds, TN, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022.

She was born to Harley Gene Jones and Mildred Moats Jones on December 25, 1949, in Jasper, TN.  Barbara was a graduate of Marion County High School, Northeast Alabama Community College and attended University of Chattanooga.

Barbara was a social worker for many years.  She worked in fashion and modeling as well.  She loved traveling, rock concerts, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Mildred Jones; brother-in-law, Dean Pippenger, and a special cousin, Sandra Prince.

She is survived by her sister, Diahana Pippenger; nephew, Robert Pippenger; niece, Tina Pippenger and their children and numerous cousins.

A graveside service will be on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm (CST) at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Michael Irwin officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 12:00 (Noon) until 1:30 pm (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home of Jasper, TN prior to the graveside service.

Pallbearers are David Smedley, Rayburn Price, Pat Ables, Mike Davis, Perry Davis, Chris Dalton, Randy Jones, and Trey Pippenger.
