Barbara Rogers Chance Dalton, of Jasper, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2017.
Barbara was a loving Mama, Nana, Sister and friend. Those blessed to know her saw her loving nature and Godly heart.
She was born October 4, 1939 in Bridgeport, AL to the late Hubert and Daisy Hogwood Rogers.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Chuck Chance and two husbands, Charles Chance and Ray Dalton.
Left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Beverly (Cecil) Sutton of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Ben (Stephanie) Sutton, of Chattanooga, TN, Trey (Sidney) Chance, of Trenton, GA, Autumn Chance, of Cleveland, TN and Ryan (Amanda) McCarver, of Stevenson, AL; 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson Chance, and Weston and Kage McCarver; brothers Bill (Linda) Rogers of Kimball, and Ira Rogers of Florence, AL.; former daughter-in-law, Rosemary Chance Ledford, of Cleveland, TN; former sister-in-law, Bonnie Rogers, of Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Brad Givens, Ronnie Case, the staff at The Bridge at South Pittsburg and Amedysis Hospice.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
