Bart Hood, Jr. 76, of Jasper, TN., passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

Bart was employed by Hood Enterprise for several years and retired from Hampton Trucking Company.

He loved farming and was an avid fisherman especially enjoyed fishing with his brother, Loyd Hood and grandson, Cody.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartley Hood, Sr. and Lucille Hood; son, Rodney Hood; sister, Iva Sue Hood; brothers, Robert Hood and Loyd Hood.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Collins Hood; daughter, Kristy (Ernie Cagle) St. Clair; grandchildren, Cody, Halley; sister, Wanda (Bobby) Kilgore; brother, Pat (Eloise) Hood; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at Glovers Hill Cemetery in Jasper, TN., with Roger Dale Webb officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cody St. Clair, Jackie Haley, Jimmy Sellers, Russ Hood, Ernie Cagle, Ryan Cagle. Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Kilgore and Gunner Campbell

There will be no public visitation.
