Bertie Kate Webb Harvey, 77, of Bridgeport, AL, formerly of Jasper, TN died Monday, September 30, 2013 in a local nursing home.

The daughter of the late Hubert and Martha Crowe Webb, she attended the Church of Christ and was retired from Jasper Elementary School after working as the school secretary for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Bud" Harvey; sisters, Dorothy Newcom, Cathryn Catun, Anna Faye Evert, Gertie Webb and Virginia Haynes; and brother, John C. Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Michael) Irwin of South Pittsburg, TN and Dottie Harvey of Jasper, TN; son, Jim (Esther) Harvey; sisters, Pat Crowe of Jasper and Betty Louise Dagnan of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Catherine Roberson and Jo Elliott.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3rd at 2:00 PM Central time with Rev. Roger Webb officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 2nd from 5-9 PM Central time.
