Obituary

Louise Murray Mayfield, 86, of South Pittsburg, TN died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in a local nursing home.
The daughter of the late Walter David & Madge Coffelt Murray, she was a longtime member of Martin Springs Baptist Church and resident of Battle Creek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert Willis Mayfield; daughter, Barbara Jean Mayfield; sisters, Katheryn Case, Sue Stewart, Mary Alice Murray, Lou Ella Murray, Lillie Mae Turner and Ruth Murray; brothers, Charles, Howard, Ernest, John Walter, Hubert, Joe Ed and Raymond Murray.
She is survived by three children, Jenny (Tommy) Curtis of Stevenson, AL, Willis (Teresa) Mayfield and Roger Mayfield both of South Pittsburg, TN; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Nelson; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at Noon, Central time on Thursday, February 9, 2017 with Rev. Ronnie Case and Rev. Jeff Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-9 PM Central time on Wednesday, February 8, at the funeral home.
