Betty Ball

Betty Ball, 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2020.

Betty was born July 11, 1929, in Farner, TN to Alvin G. and Ola (Kimsey) Ball. She received her BS from the University of Tennessee in 1957 and taught school for 46 years.  Betty retired in 1986 from the Chattanooga City School System.

Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga, PEO, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society.  She had a passion for reading and travel.  Her travels ranged from the continental United States to Israel and the Middle East, and Europe.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Alvin and her mother Ola, brothers, Ray, Harold, and Dale Ball and sister, Louise Taylor Sebring.  She is survived by two brothers, Clifford Dennis and David J. Ball, nine nieces and nephews, twenty-four great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Betty will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. (CST)  at Rogers Funeral Home of Jasper.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021  from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. at Jasper, TN.
