Betty Black Mickler, 70, of Kimball, TN, passed away gently and peacefully at her home the morning of October 2, 2011. Betty was born on September 19, 1941 in Marion County, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Lily Robinson Black, Mrs. Mickler was a faithful member of the Sweetens Cove Church of Christ, a homemaker, and a loving, caring wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Henry Mickler of Kimball; and sons, Keith Daniel (Candy) Mickler of Rome, GA and Kent Henry (Amy) Mickler of Bridgeport, AL; two grandchildren, Zachary Mickler and Kensley Mickler; six sisters, Joann Black Walker, Glenda Black Gudger, Wilma Black Castle, Brenda Black Jones, Carol Black Grider and Donna Black Siler, all of Marion County; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Mickler, Kent Mickler, Garrett Graham, Justin Graham, Joe Findley, Dakota Findley, Less Hood, Chad Rogers, Chris Jones and Drew Jones.

Funeral services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 2PM Central time on Thursday, October 6, 2011 officiated by Paul Swindle and David Smith. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5PM - 8PM Central time on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
