Betty Lynette Moore, 63 of South Pittsburg, passed away at a Chattanooga hospital on January 29, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Austin and Myrtice Lamberth of Alabama.
She was a seamstress for Sand Mountain Cutting and Sewing for many years. She was an active member of Wesley and Lou's Chapel United Methodist Churches for many years and was a fine wife and mother to her and Rev. Joe Moore's children. Everyone who ever knew her loved her. Our lives had been made better because of her. She has gone on to prepare a way for us in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will see her again one day by the Throne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Myrtice Lamberth, her sister; Judy White, brother; Delbert Austin, and daughter; Sabrina Moore.
Those left to honor her are her husband, Joe Moore; sons Jonathan White and Mark Moore, daughters, Quneta Reed, Christy White, and Tamera Moses, brother; Marvin and sisters; Virginia, Mary, Pam and Wendy. Two granddaughters she raised, Natalie Grace Tucker and Arien Turner. She had a total of 11 grand children and 2 great grand children all of which she adored.
There will be visitation at Wesley United Methodist Church located at 300 Magnolia Avenue, South Pittsburg on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM (CST).
Followed by a Celebration of Life at the Church at 3:00 p.m. officiating will be her husband, Reverend Joe Moore.
All friends and family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life, the family asks that everyone wear a mask to protect others.
