Betty Shetters Privett, 69, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, October 24, 2013 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

The daughter of the late George and Ellen Ballew Shetters, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church and had worked for many years as a nurse at South Pittsburg Hospital. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Privett; son, Wayne Privett, Jr.; and brothers, Jim and Hershel Shetters.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Nathan) Billingsley of Kimball, TN; grandchildren, Holden and Ellie Billingsley; sister, Barbara Shetters (Marc) Rinehart of Jacksboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, October 26th from 4-8pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, October 27th at 2pm with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery.
