Betty Crabtree Cagle Sloan, 80, of Bridgeport, AL, died Thursday, January 15th at a local hospital.
The daughter of the late Lawrence Reed and Myrtle Ailey Smith Crabtree, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Cagle. She was a member of the South Pittsburg Church of Christ and was a former Supervisor at the Pittsburg Knitting Mill.
Mrs. Sloan is survived by her husband, Jimmy Sloan of Bridgeport, AL; daughter, Sandy Cagle Kean and grandson, Barrett White both of Scottsboro, AL; two brothers, Jim Crabtree of Jasper, TN and Jack Crabtree of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Nell Stewart of Chattanooga, TN and Kay Smothers of Foley, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 18th at 1:00pm at the South Pittsburg Church of Christ, interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 17th from 6 - 9:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
