Beverly Lynn Payton Rush, 64, of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Tapken, grandson, Christian Fulfer, and niece, Teresa Marie Hatten.

She is survived by her children, Gary Lawley of South Pittsburg, William Rush of Chattanooga, Jason McCord of South Pittsburg, and Jenell McCord of Chattanooga; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Velma Tapken; sisters, Debra Weaver, Nadine Joaquin, Ruth Payton Chamberlain, and Lori Tapken; brother, Frank Payton; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at 2:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, with family visitation for one hour prior to the service.

The family requests that no flowers be sent, and wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their prayers and support during the past difficult weeks of Beverly's illness.
