Billy Ray Bryant, 59, of New Hope, Tennessee, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Chattanooga, TN.
The son of the late Richard Wallace and Lucille Childers Bryant, he was a forklift operator for Cardin Lumber Mill.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Sherrie Hunnicutt Bryant, siblings, Charles, Richard, Marvin, Jimmy and Barry Bryant, and sister, Mary Dawn King.
He is survived by sons, Ray L. "Boogie" Bryant of Lafayette, GA and Barry Ryan Bryant of Lookout Mtn., GA; two sisters, Benita Hartline of Chattanooga, and Becky Jones of Reynolds, GA; brother, Jerry Bryant, of Ocala, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, at 11:00 AM Central Time with Sidney Jones officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 9, from 5-7 PM Central Time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
