Bobby Horton, age 66, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

Bobby was born December 6, 1956.

He worked for TVA for 35 years as a heavy equipment operator.

Bobby loved to hunt, fish and spending time with family but especially spending time with his grandchildren, Lacy, Liam, and Lennox.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus Eugene and Pauline Horton.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Elledge Horton; son, Marcus (Shana) Horton; sister, Helen Marshall; grandchildren, Lacy Horton, Liam Horton, and Lennox Horton; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. (CDT) in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg with Rev. Ken Elledge and Rev. Don Elledge officiating.

Bobby will be laid to rest at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens, Jasper, TN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Todd Elledge, Josh Sims, Jeff Sims, Nick Holcomb, Brice Burkhalter and Jesse Elledge.
