Bobby Charles Ross, 84, of Jasper, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

He retired from Dupont after 26 years of service.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves.  Bobby was a 57 year member of Olive Branch Lodge #297.  Bobby was a member of the Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as ruling elder and many other capacities.

He was preceded in death by his parents David Marshall Ross and Cola Christine Brown Ross; brother, David William Ross; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert F. and Lettie (Pitman) Griffith; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John W. and Billie Sue (Griffith) Caves and a niece Yvonne Caves Bowlin.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorris Griffith Ross; brother, Howard Lamar Ross; nephews, David Preston Ross, Marshall Ross and Rex Ross; niece, Kristi Caves (Herb) Thomasson.  Also, 4 great nephews and a niece with 3 great-great nephews and 4 great-great nephews.

The family will have a graveside service on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Sequatchie Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Mark Craven and Reverend Cliff Hudson officiating and the Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guards will conduct a full military funeral service.

There will be no visitation due to Covid.

Everyone is welcome to attend the graveside service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens – mask requested.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 877 Jasper, TN 37347.

Pallbearers are Thomas Barnes, Keith Lehman, Joe Spangler, John Griffith, Lee Spangler and Lloyd Griffith.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Elders of the Jasper Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Brian Phillips, Jr., John Wells, Chris Reyes, Jerry Hudson and Coleman Slatton.
