Bonnie Brown Higdon, 77, went to be with our Lord on January 20, 2007. She was a school bus driver for the Marion County School System for over 26 years and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Edith Cope Brown, husband, Carl Higdon, brothers, Clarence, Sonny and Paul Brown, and son-in-law, Sam Anderson. She is survived by sons, David (Barb) Hidgon, Dale (Brenda) Hidgon, Johnny (Penny Arnold) Higdon; daughters, Jean (Roger) Powell, Judy (Randy) Norman, Linda (Vern Smith) Anderson, daughter-in-law, Lynn (Doug) Graham; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Ginny Fyffe, Clearwater, Florida; brother, Jimmy Harris, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, Monday, January 22, at 2:00 PM, CST with Rev. Darrell Nunley and Rev. Tommy Quick officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, from 5-9 PM, CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
