Brenda Asher

Brenda Webb Asher, 71, of Jasper, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2018.

A 1964 graduate of Marion County High School, Brenda received her bachelor's degree in education from MTSU and went on to obtain her masters from Trevecca University. She was longtime educator with Marion County School Systems and a member of Jasper First Baptist Church.

The daughter of the late Dennis Herbert and Jewell Griffith Webb, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Neil Webb; and sister-in-law, Jan Mike.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jim Asher; two daughters, Elizabeth Asher Bryant (Marty), Rebecca Asher (Adam Jolly); granddaughter, Baylor Bryant; step-grandchildren, A.J. and Rachael Jolly; brothers, Mark (Kay) Webb and Grant (Jennifer) Webb; sisters-in-law, Ashley Chambers and Pam Webb; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM central time, Sunday, November 4, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Grisham officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 1:00-5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Alzheimer's Association.
