Brenda Earvin Heathington, 68 of Chattanooga, TN died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home.
The daughter of the late William Lee and Clara Mae Virginia Ware Earvin, she attended Knoxville College and received her B.S. in Education from University of Chattanooga. She taught elementary education in the Hamilton County School System for 27 years.
She is survived by her son, William Heathington of Chattanooga, TN; brother Larry Earvin of Atlanta, GA; sister Deborah Earvin of Ooltewah, TN; ex-spouse R. Chester Heathington of Chattanooga, TN; niece Allyson Richardson (Michael) of Atlanta, GA; and nephew William Earvin (Tamesha) of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in South Pittsburg, TN on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm Central time with Father Mark Scholz officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetary in Kimball, TN.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 11am until 12:45pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN.
