Buddy Jackson Kluttz, 82, of Bridgeport, AL, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at his home.

He was the son of the late Harvey and Della Kluttz and was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Martha Jean Cates Kluttz who died June 11, 2006.

A US Navy veteran and a Mason, he was retired from Shaw Industries and was well known for his auto upholstery skills.

He is survived by his children, James Kluttz, of Texas and Deborah and Melvin Adcock of Copperhill, TN; three grandsons, Billy Joe & David Hedrick both of Murphy, NC and Bobby Hedrick of Copperhill, TN; five great-grandsons, Jaron, Ethan, Evan, Eric & Jase Hedrick ; sister-in-law, Kay Ford of Kimball, TN; brothers-in-law, Rodger Dale Ford of Kimball, TN, James Cates and Estill Cates, Jr. both of Bridgeport, AL; and special friends, John and Connie Mitchell of Bridgeport, AL.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 9:00 - 10:45AM at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM with Ernest Hargis officiating.
