Carl Mack Prince, 85, of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, October 19, 2012 in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
The son of the late Willie Joe and Lizzie Bookout Prince, he was a veteran of the US Army, having served in World War II and Korea. He was a 50 year member of Marion Lodge #515 F&AM. He was also an adjunct teacher at Chattanooga State, was the owner of Prince Radio and TV Repair since 1953 and was the oldest businessman in South Pittsburg at the time of his death.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Billy Prince and sister, Grace Sanders.
He is survived by his daughters, Reba Prince (Ron) Rankin and Janet Prince Cole both of South Pittsburg; grandsons, Eric (Stacy) Rankin and Rodney (Tatia) Rankin both of Jasper and John Cole of South Pittsburg; great-grandson, Bobby Rankin of Jasper; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Wilma Wright of South Pittsburg.
Memorial services will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 12 Noon until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held prior to the service.
The family extends a special "Thank You" to the physicians and nurses at Erlanger Hospital.
