Carolyn "Sue" Lawhorn, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  Born April 1, 1944, Sue was the daughter of the late Earl Brewer, Jr. and the late Martha Edith Lawson Brewer of Jasper, TN. She was a graduate of Marion County High School.

Sue was a member of the Jasper Church of God,  and was very strong in her faith.

She was the first person hired to work for Shaw Industries in South Pittsburg, she retired after 21 years of service.

Sue is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Lawhorn,  her parents; Earl Brewer, Jr. and Martha Brewer, and her brother, Hershel Brewer, cousin, Richard Lawson, and dear friend Glenda Lawhorn.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Lawhorn and grandson, Rex Lawhorn,  cousins; Margaret Hood, Stella Long, Judy Brewer, Roger Lawson, Nancy Lawson Miller, Suzanne Lawson, Janet Lawson Harrington, Pam Couch McAnally, and Keith Lawson Griffith, as well as dear friends; Bett Carson and Brenda Skyles.

Sue was known for her  kindness, and her love of the color blue.   She loved Church, cats, dogs and her house plants.

Funeral Services will be held at the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 21 E. Fifth St., Jasper, TN on Friday, October 14, 2022,  at 1:30 pm (CST) with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 11:30 am (CST), with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating.

Sue will be laid to rest at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
