Carrie Belle Howard Williford of New Hope, Marion County, TN left this life on February 10, 2014, to sing in the Heavenly Choir.
Carrie was born on September 12, 1924, the daughter of John A. and Eva Huckabee Howard. For much of her life she pursued her passion for praising the Lord through music and song across the tri-state area. She continued, with enthusiasm, as a member of Christian Baptist Church. Her life was marked by a great hospitality and generosity towards others.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Joe Williford, daughter Nancy Clouse, sisters Margie Blevins, Geneva Durham, Ruth Lawson, and brother Hugh Howard.
She is survived by grandchildren Cara Clouse and Scott Clouse, one sister Katherine Hughes, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM CST on Monday, February 17, 2014 in the chapel at Rogers Funeral Home, South Pittsburg, TN. Visitation will start 11:00 AM on Monday, 2 hours prior to the service.

Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
