Charlene Ann McNabb Looney Young, 91, of Jasper, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Charlene was a member of the Kimball Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir. She was very active in the Marion County Food Bank for many years. Her hobby for many years that brought her much pleasure was quilting.

She worked for the Marion County Board of Education System from 1965 to 1992.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Estill and Pearl McNabb; First husband, John Keith Looney; second husband, Chester Owen Young; infant brother, Jerome Dean McNabb; son, Steven Looney.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Renee') Looney, Timothy (Teresa) Looney; one daughter, Paula Payne; daughter-in-law, Mary Looney; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Myrna Parker and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee with Jimmy Holtzclaw officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations for Charlene may be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 41428, Nashville, Tennessee 37204.
