Charles Horace Burnett, Jr. of Sequatchie, TN, age 68, died at NHC of Sequatchie on May 12, 2009.The son of the late Charles Horace and Ethel Marie Lusk Burnett, he was raised in the Baptist faith and attended the University of Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University. He loved hunting, fishing, and UT football. He was an outstanding wood craftsman, an expert in world war histories, an avid reader and always willing to lend a helping hand.He is survived by his sisters, JoAnn (Dan) Butler of Williamsburg, VA, Marilyn (Hugh) Garner of Signal Mountain, TN; niece, Paige Ann Morse of Signal Mountain; nephews, Hugh Griffith (Sarah) Garner of Whiteville, NC, Les (Lora) Butler of Atlanta, GA, Lance (Audrey) Butler of Lexington, KY; great-nieces and nephews, Marie & Hugh Thomas Morse, Jessica & Meg Garner, Nicholas Butler and Chelsea & Zackary Butler.A graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Teague at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper at 5pm CDT on Thursday, May 14.The visitation will be Thursday, May 14 from 2pm to 4:45pm CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Lasater Cemetery c/o Jim Holtcamp at P.O.
