Obituary

Charles Thomas "Tommy" Kelly, 69, of Kimball died Tuesday, November 25 in a Chattanooga hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 9, 1938 to the late William Raymond and Edna Bell Kelly, he was an owner and home builder with Kelly Brothers Construction for over 40 years. He was a Christian and a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
First diagnosed with cancer in 1996, Tommy battled through four diagnoses with a strength and determination that inspired all those who knew him.
Tommy was also preceded in death by his brothers, James A. and William R. Kelly, Jr. and sister, Imogene Kelly.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 39 years, Hazel Durham Kelly of Kimball; son, Thomas Kelly, II of South Pittsburg; two beloved grandsons, Trey and Jacob Kelly; brother, Ed Kelly of Jasper; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Friday, November 28th at 2 PM CST with Reverend Roger Webb officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
The family will gather with friends for visitation on Wednesday, November 26th from 5-9 PM and on Thursday, November 27th from 3-9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
