Charles Ronald "Ronnie" Scissom, 78, of South Pittsburg, TN died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his home.

The son of the late Charles H. Sissom and Annie Beatrice Hill Steele, he was a US Veteran having served for 4 years with the Marine Corps, and was a truck driver for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Cox Scissom and brother, John "Fuzzy" Steele.

He is survived by his sons, Marc (Tammy) Scissom, Chris Scissom; daughter, Robin Scissom (Marcus) Bauler; grandchildren, Jeffrey Scissom, Britni Brown, Andrew Ford, Matthew Ford, Brooke Scissom, Emily Scissom, Mia Scissom, Ashley Bauler, and Brandon Bauler; great-grandchildren, Brasden Brown, Lorelai Brown, and Bentley Ford; sisters, Sarah (Bob) Jackson and Susie Belk; several nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest at Orme Mountain Cemetery, South Pittsburg, TN on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 10:00 am Central time with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
