Kenneth Thompson

Charles Ken "Foots" Thompson, Sr. 77, passed away at his home in Jasper, TN, in the early hours of February 6th surrounded by his family. Ken was born in Chattanooga, TN, the son of Mildred Thompson Rounsaville and Thomas Jefferson Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Thomas Jefferson "Sarge" Thompson, Jerome Eugene "Blackpot" Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Brown Thompson, of Jasper, TN; two children, Tami T. (Rex) Street, of Athens, GA and Charles Kenneth (Renee) Thompson, II, of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Rex Paul (Erin) Street II, Kathryn Bailey Street, Amanda Jo Street, all of Athens, GA, Richard Kenneth Thompson, of Myrtle Beach, SC; two great-grandchildren, Charles Beckett Street, Alyssa Grace Street; one brother, James Wesley "Chick" (Ann) Thompson; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at McKendree United Methodist Church, Jasper, TN, Saturday, February 9th at 2:00 PM Central time with service following at 3:00 PM Central time.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to McKendree United Methodist Church in Jasper, TN.
