Mr. Charlie Richard Holt, 93, of Kimball passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008 in a local hospital.He was a lifelong resident of Kimball and South Pittsburg, TN and was a World War II veteran of the US Army and retired from TVA. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Jasper and a member of Marion Lodge #515 F&AM and Tri-State Carpenters. He was preceded in death by his parents James M. and Suzannah Vinson Holt; brothers, Harrison, Albert Lee, Virgil, Frank and Tom Holt; sisters, Flora Mae Morris and Beulah Pelham.He is survived by his daughter, Reba Gail (Earl) Durham of Ooltewah; sons, Darrell (Freda) Holt and Steve Holt, Sr. both of Kimball, Danny (Rhonda) Holt of Chattanooga and Jerry Holt of Soddy Daisy, TN; sister, Elizabeth Friel of Chattanooga; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1 PM CST with Reverend Lynn Casseday officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4-9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
