Charlie Lawson, 90, of New Hope, TN died Thursday, June 1, 2017.

The son of the late Talmadge Frank & Alice Gray Lawson, he was a longtime employee of JI Brown Tree Company and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Blevins Lawson; son, Labron (Margaret) Lawson both of New Hope, TN; grandchildren, Kristen (Brent) Phillips of Stevenson, AL and Josh (Morgan) Lawson of New Hope; three great-grandchildren, Memphis, Wyatt and River; sister, Myrtle Ruth Moors of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at Antioch Baptist Church at 2:00pm Central time on Saturday, June 3, 2017 with Rev. Chris Kilgore, officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 2nd from 5-8pm and on Saturday, June 3rd from 9am - 1:30pm Central time at the funeral home.
