Charlie Shoemake,56, of South Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing and crafting, Charlie also enjoyed sweet tea, bacon and J.J. Da Boss. He was proud of his native American heritage. He loved to entertain by playing his Indian flute.  Everyone enjoyed his sense of humor, honesty and loyalty.

Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lilly Mae Freeman Shoemake and Grady Shoemake, Pauline Smith White and William Thomas White; uncle, Thomas Edward White, Ricky Joe White, Jerry Don White and Gene Shoemake.

Survivors include his wife, of 28 years, Barbara Haggard Shoemake, son, Trevor Britton Shoemake; mother and father, Samuel and Frances Shoemake; brothers, Steven Shoemake, Samuel (Speedy) (Susan) Shoemake; uncle, Charles (Diane) White; aunt, Diane Haley, Carolyn Lewis; uncle, Edward Shoemake, stephen (Diann) Shoemake. Charlie had several special friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. (CST)  in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg with Rev.  Jeffery Nelson officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:30 to 6:30 prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
