Charlotte A. Wordlaw of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died Monday, June 1st at a Chattanooga hospital. Charlotte was born on February 24, 1972 at South Pittsburg Municipal Hospital. She graduated from South Pittsburg High School in 1992.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children; Montrell Mitchell, La'Dreamer Garrett and Karrell Garrett; granddaughter and granddaughter's mother, Leah Mitchell and Erica Layne, all of South Pittsburg; husband, Van Wordlaw of Chattanooga, TN; mother, Thelma (Thomas) Hutchins; father, Terry Cunningham; sisters, Warnette (Roger) Wordlaw and Tosha Harper; brothers, Perry Hutchins, Darian (Kathy) Clay and Eddie Harper; grandmothers, Sally McMillian and Lena Mae (Leroy) Johnson of South Pittsburg; aunts, Mona (Michael) Buchanan of Chattanooga, Peggy (Willie) Lankford of Bridgeport, AL and Mae McMillian of South Pittsburg; uncles, James (Kathy) Hutchins of Jasper, TN, Terry (Angela) McMillian of Stockbridge, GA, Robert (Karen) McMillian of Jasper and Jerry Cunningham of South Pittsburg; a very special niece, A'sha Chubb of South Pittsburg; nephews, Kavin Pryor, Kyree Pryor and Malik Hutchins of South Pittsburg; godsons, Nathaniel Donegan and Kendall Stamper; very special friends, Jeffery Walker, Yolanda Stamper, Terry Mitchell, Latisha Beene, Earnest Bulloch and Joe Tipton. She will also be missed by a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Friday, June 5th from 6-8pm CDT.
The funeral will be at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday, June 6th at 2pm. Interment to follow in Cumberland View Cemetery.
