Christopher Alexander Blevins, 31, of Salem, IN, formerly of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, January 20, 2012.

Alex was a 1999 graduate of St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies and History in 2003 from Centre College in Danville, KY. He was a member of the Centre College Alumni Association and was a Board Member for the St. Andrew's-Sewanee School Alumni Foundation. He was also the Executive Director of Kentucky C.A.S.A. Inc. in Louisville.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Bartanen Blevins; daughter, Harper Marie Lewis Blevins; son, Charles Christopher Blevins all of Salem, IN; parents, Dr. Chris and Sheila Blevins of South Pittsburg; sister, Laura Johnson of Mobile, AL and brother, Christopher Wolfe of Bowling Green, KY; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn Golden Blevins.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel at St. Andrew's-Sewanee at 3PM Central Time on Thursday, January 26, 2012, conducted by Rev. Bill Wade. Interment will be in St. Andrew's-Sewanee Cemetery. Reception to follow in the chapel reception center at St. Andrew's-Sewanee.

A memorial service will also be held at the Galt House in Louisville, KY on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:30AM Central Time.
