Daniel Kane "Beau" Durham, 32, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 13, 2012.

Born April 4, 1980 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was a lifelong resident of Signal Mountain. He was a 1998 graduate of the McCallie School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He was employed at Estes Equipment Company where he worked with his father and other family members.

Beau will always be remembered for being a loyal friend with a big heart. An avid sportsman, Beau enjoyed all sports, especially watching the Atlanta Braves and playing golf.

He was extremely proud of his younger sister, Erin and loved her very much.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Earl and Doris Ketner Estes and Gordon and Martha Durham and aunt, Mary Lawrence Durham.

He is survived by his parents, Dan and Debbie Estes Durham of Signal Mountain; one sister, Erin (Austin) Jayne of Signal Mountain; uncles, Randy Durham and Gary (Nancy) Estes, cousins Sarah Durham, Meredith (Mike) Feistner, Alex (Maggie) Estes, and Ashley (Michael) Brezina.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 3pm Eastern time on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church in the Greeting Room.

The service of Resurrection will be celebrated in the church sanctuary at 3pm Eastern on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park ("The Duck Pond").

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
