Daniel D. Kiser, 83, of Jasper, TN passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011.

He was born in Seco, KY on September 18, 1927. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Edith Buckner Kiser; his father, Webster T. Kiser; his mother, Mattie Bell Basham Kiser and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Kiser was a deacon and song director at Guild Baptist Church, retired after 41 years with TVA and a Navy veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Lubrano and her husband, Leonard; grandson, Vincent Lubrano all of Burlingame, CA; granddaughter, Rebekah Lubrano of Belmont, CA; and son, Daniel Douglas Kiser, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Huntsville, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN at 10AM Central Time on Friday, September 2, 2011, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Smith, Rev. Walter Patterson and Rev. John Goforth. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN.

The Kiser family will receive friends from 4 - 8PM on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
