Robert "Dean" Pippenger, 77, of Ladds, TN, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

Dean was an Ironworker with local 704 for over 43 years.  He loved fishing, enjoyed NASCAR and college football and in his later years was an avid reader of all kinds of books.

But most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Dean was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church and Olive Branch Masonic Lodge # 297 F& AM of Jasper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Louise Lawson Pippenger, brother, Neal Pippenger and sister, Evelyn Lee.

Survivors include his loving  wife of almost 58 years Diahana Jones Pippenger; son, Robert (Joy) Pippenger, and their children, Megan (Christian) Pippenger Hall, Megan (Kyle) Metalka, Trey Pippenger, and Hunter(Emily) Hobbs, his daughter, Tina Pippenger, her children McKenna (Chase) Vandergriff, Savanna (Zac) Hart; two brothers, Johnny (Jean) Pippenger of Benton, TN, and Kenneth Pippenger (Sandra) of Tullahoma, TN,; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Pippenger of Benton, TN, and Barbara Jones of Ladd, TN, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. (CST) at  Rogers Funeral Home of Jasper, TN, with Rev. Greg Steele

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00  to 7:00 and on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the funeral home chapel, located at  21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, Tennessee 37347

Pallbearers will be Steve Garner, Joe Spangler, Keith Pippenger, Kent Pippenger, John Pippenger and Hunter Hobbs.
