Deanna Rena Forsythe Gatlin, 46, of Jasper, Tennessee died, Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

She was a graduate of Lookout Valley High School and had worked for several years at NHC in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorris Forsythe McCullough; grandfather, Leonard Hicks, Sr.; uncle, Leonard Hicks, Jr.; and husband, Dennis Quarles.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra Hicks Forsythe; father & step-mother, James & Jan Forsythe; grandmother, Geraldine Hicks; brothers, Joey (Carmen) Forsythe and Jeffrey Forsythe; sister, Priscilla Forsythe; children, Cassandra (Joe) Thomas and Amanda (Brian) Kaysen; grandchildren, Ezekiel Thomas and BreAsia Quarles; nieces, Destiny Forsythe and Aleagha Fleming; nephews, Toney Sampson and Andrew (Brittany) Forsythe; great-nephew, Caiden Pickett; God-sisters, Ruthie Cardin, Marlene Martin, and Karen Brown; and God-mothers, Linda Nelson and Linda Browning.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday, November 2, 2019 with Rev. Brian Vann and Rev. Gary Bone, officiating. Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, October 31st from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time, and Friday, November 1st from 12:00 noon – 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, November 2nd from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
