Delores Ann Wynne Curtis, 77, of South Pittsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at a healthcare facility.

She was a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  Delores was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and obtained a B.S. degree in Education at Middle Tennessee University. While juggling a teaching career and three small children she received her Masters Degree in Education also from Middle Tennessee University.

She was a member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church and a choir member for many years. Delores became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution joining the General James Winchester Chapter.

After her retirement, she became an avid genealogist and enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Kathryn Hargis Wynne, her husband, Leonard Wayne Curtis and brother, Jerry Wynne.

Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Lynn Curtis, Holly DeAnna Curtis, and Candy Mechelle O'Leary (Daniel); grandchildren, Kathryn Rachel O'Leary Raplee (Jacob) and Daniel Ryan O' Leary; sister, Shelby Jean Kirkpatrick and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a graveside service on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 1:30 p.m.

(CST) at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper with Rev. Logan Jackson officiating.

Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Jasper, Tennessee.

There will be no public visitation due to COVID.

All family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service on Sunday.
