Dentzel Eugene Landstreet, Sr., of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at home.

"Gene" was born and raised in South Pittsburg, TN. He and his wife moved to Chattanooga in 1961 and then to Ooltewah in 1975.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Lou Holder Landstreet and Father, Dentzel Steffy Landstreet.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret H. Wynne Landstreet, sons, Dentzel Eugene Landstreet (Kathy) and Donald Eric Landstreet (Pam), his sister, Marie Landstreet Clepper, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Garden with Pastor Al Miller officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 P.m. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home, 400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg prior to the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Klinger, Andrew Delashmitt, Greg Emmett, Andy Hall, Tracy Cramer, and Jerry Wynne.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Wynne, Riley Wynne and William Lee Wynne.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Hospice of Chattanooga-East Team.
