Don Curry "Duck" King, 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, January 2, 2012.

He was a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg and was born on January 7, 1941 to the late Mary Lee Holland and William King.

He was preceded in death by son, Gregory Allen King and sister, Mary Ellen Hill.

He was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and served in the National Guard. He retired from DuPont after 30+ years.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Judith Evans King; daughter, Marlene (Ronnie) Pittman; granddaughter, Allyxandra Pittman; brothers, Gene (Pat) King, Marvin (Wanda) King, all of South Pittsburg; Billy (Margaret) King, Jimmy King, both of Kimball, TN, Paul Don (Brenda) King of Richard City; sister, Rose Looney of South Pittsburg; several nieces, nephews, great friends and very special dog, Chloe.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 2:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, January 5, 2012, officiated by Rev. Jeff Lane.

The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5 - 9PM Central Time.
