Donna Renae Chance Mathis, 40, of South Pittsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday after a long struggle with cancer.She is the daughter of Donald and Gloria Bellomy Chance, and a 1985 graduate of South Pittsburg High School. She had been employed by Shaw Industries for 15 years and also worked for DuPont until 2004.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilson and Leona Bellomy and Elmer and Maude Chance, five uncles, Willis and Jim Chance, Bob Gore, Paul Inglis, and James R. Johnson, five aunts, Lois Inglis, Margie Johnson, Jenny Gore, Charlotte Bellomy, and Mary Chance, two cousins, Jimmy Johnson and Pam Johnson.She is survived by her parents, one son, Brandon (Randi) Coppinger of South Pittsburg, a special pet, Makayla, a beloved friend, Wendy Mathis of Bridgeport, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Friday, October 26, at 1:00pm CDT, with Rev. Paul Stuart and Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Susan G.
